SENIOR ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

Full Time, Hermosa Beach, LA
MAYA is seeking an outreach experienced public relations professional to join the Hermosa Beach, LA office at the Senior Account Executive level to manage an education campaign. Responsible for the education campaign PR activities including developing partnership plan and strategies, implementing outreach campaigns, project management; planning, promoting and implementing special events; message development and pitching the media; and managing and executing all forms of written communications in Spanish and English. Excellent organizational, computer, Spanish and English written and oral skills are required.
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
• 4-5 years of public relations experience, preferably in a public relations agency environment
• Broad PR background that includes partnerships, media relations, writing, event planning and materials development experience 
• Demonstrated experience with partnership development and community outreach
• Must be media-savvy and able to think strategically about issues and message development 
• Superior writing skills 
• Strong project management, multi-tasking and organizational skills 
• Available to work without supervision
• BA/BS
• Excellent Spanish and English written, verbal, presentation and communications skills.
